What I expected to happen when I placed a torch on the hit box of a 1-block high grass/weed block I expected the torch to simply be placed.

What actually happened was that a strange pink and black checkered box appeared before the torch texture actually appeared.

1. Have a torch in your inventory/hot-bar.
2. Find a one-block tall grass/weed block(produces seeds when broken).
3. Place the torch on the one-block tall grass/weed block.
