Melon Farming Glitch, preventing two rows of melons to be grown next to eachother

      When two rows of melons are grown like shown in the images below, if one melon is grown in the first row, both stems latch onto the one melon preventing more melons in the second row from being made. In other cases, the melons in the second row grow out backwards instead of in the intended area. In other, other cases, a melon grows in the second row and then a melon behind it grows in the first row and both stems latch onto the same melon leaving the other one without a stem.
