      Why this is a bug ?
      * Is a invisible block, nothing should connect with it.
      * Glass panes and iron bars do not connect to it.

      What I expected to happen was:
      The fence would not connect to the barrier.

      What happened was:
      The fence connects to the barrier/invisible block.

      Steps to reproduce:
      * Place a fence.
      * Place a barrier (minecraft:barrier).
