Windows 8.1 Crash

      WIndows 8.1 update made it impossible to play Minecraft

      Following windows 8.1 update, I can launch the game but when I try to open a world to play, I get a crash report

      Graphics drivers and Java are all up to date
      Launcher is Ver 1.3.9
      Steps to Reproduce:
      1.Game ran fine on WIndows 8
      2. Installed windows 8.1 update
      3. Game crashes
