New stone not showing up above ground in Amplified worlds

What I expected to happen was...:
From the descriptions I saw the new stone shows up like gravel above lvl 60 so I expected to see it in the mountains in Amped terrain

What actually happened was...:
While the new stone would show up at lower elevations it was not found up in the tall amped mountains and cliffs the way gravel is

Steps to Reproduce:
1. load new amped world
2. look around

I admit my info may be incomplete and/or incorrect and this may be how it is supposed to be but I was excited that there might be something worth finding up in those tall mountains
