I got my torch out of my inventory and selected it but the instant I did, the screen in the game began flashing and the landscape and most-all of the items in Building Blocks, Decorations, Redstone and Transportation disappeared. When I un-selected my torch the flashing stopped, but the landscape and inventory items were still gone. All that you can see is the Abyss, underground tunnels, lava tunnels, some mobs and water. The same thing occurred when I selected my redstone torch. The only way I was able to fix it, temporarily, is to log all the way out of the game and then go back in.

Steps to Reproduce:
First Way
1. Open Inventory
2. Put Torch or Redstone Torch into Inventory Bar
3. Select Torch or Redstone Torch

Second Way
1. Log in with Torch or Redstone Torch already selected.
