I threw a splash potion of invisibility on the dragon, to see if it had a similar effect to invisible spiders (eyes still visible). it didn't work. but the potion gave me the invisibility effect too. I noticed instantly that the dragon was still charging straight for me. also the same for iron golems and withers.
