I run a server for my girlfriend and myself, we were playing earlier this morning we have never had a problem all has been sweet and our world has been growing rapidly, few hours later we try to play again and now in our cow fenced off area where we breed them, there is this giant hole in the ground that goes all the way down down down, the server spams errors.

I thought closing the server and re opening as well as the minecraft client that everything would be sweet, now in the server list it says the server is "old" with an x over the ping ms bars

I tried downloading both the server and client so and put them in a new folder and ran a new server which worked flawless but I want my old world naturally... I'm asking for help because this is a problem that is now out of my hands and knowledge and I would extremely appreciate any help given into this matter that will lead to a resolve so we can keep growing in our world, many many many thanks,
