My system can run MC at 120-200 FPS with all settings maxed out, but to conserve power I attempted to limit FPS using Vsync (And after the following problems, I tried the slider as well).

When the frame rate is reduced chunks will start to load extremely slowly. At 60FPS I can walk all the way up to the edge before a new chunk loads, even though render distance is set to 16. But if I simply set the frame rate to unlimited the chunks will load instantly and act normally.

Furthermore even if the settings in MC are unlimited, but I am recording with FRAPS (limiting frame rate to 30FPS) the same problem occurs.

I would expect limited frame rate would be a performance advantage, but instead it makes the game nearly unplayable. I am forced to leave the frame rate unlimited to play, but I am unable to record game play without chunk loading becoming unbearably slow.
