When I heard about the new nether portal features, I decided to test them out. One listed feature was about how nether portals can be "side by side," or parallel, in adjacent blocks. However, the front block was invisible when I tried this. It functions normally, it just can't be seen. When I flip to the other side, the new "front" (relative to me) became invisible. The previously invisible portal showed up.
