Clicking super secret settings in any mode will simply play the sound, no changes occur

One of the various different shaders should have been activated.

The result was that the monster sounds played, but no effects were made.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. be on linux opensuse 12.2RC2
2. Possibly be on a graphics card without OpenGL2.1
3. click super secret shaders
