I was cruising along the open Ocean when as i was passing near a Desert Biome Island My boat suddenly and inexplicably was destroyed. I was a good 10 blocks away from the Island at least.

I looked around and there were no surface level blocks, and no lily pads around at all.
When I went to go pick up the blocks from the boat, the boat which had been made of Spruce blocks, had left behind Oak blocks and no sticks.

My best guess is that it was a glitch with the fast constant loading of the surrounding world as I was going along the ocean. I don't quite know how you would recreate it aside from blazing along the ocean near islands.
