While altering my resource pack in an attempt to reinstate the alter sound effects I had from previous versions, none of the old sounds are being overridden anymore. using "replace": true has seeming no effect and attempting to alter the weight of the original files also seems to have little effect the best that has come of it is adding my files to the original sounds. was tested on a command block using playsound random.bowhit @p. my new sound would randomly pop up but with there being more old sounds than my one new, more often than not it was effectively unchanged. and this being after I had set the weight of bowhit1, bowhit2, and bowhit3 to 0 and my new sound to 100.
