What I expected to happen was...:
When attempting to place a selected item in a selected square I expected the system to just place one item, however the system continues to randomly place items all over the place even when you have instructed it to only place one item

What actually happened was...:
as above

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select an item
2. Press the relevant controls to place the item
3. System continually places multiples of the selected item everywhere
