Minecraft crashes when I load a world that has and several chunks replaced by air.

These chunks had not been loaded in-game and were generated by MCedit.

Game is not modded. I have tried opening the world in all 1.7 snapshots but am unable to open in 1.6 due to several 1.7 features in the world.
