When I wanna get a item out of my creative / Survival inventory it wont click, i have to drag the item for crafting, i gotta drag my items to craft it sucks plz fix it

i expected to normally play on a server when i was getting something out of my chest i saw it would not click i tryed to drag and it worked
I Was Thinking it would be a normal server day

What actually happened was that i had to strangly drag...:
its so annoying !!!
