When changing your speed in spectator mode using the scroll wheel it's not kept when you exit and reenter the world. That's not how I expected it to work and it's quite annoying when you're testing something that requires precise movement and it disappears after relogging.

• Go into spectator mode
• Use scroll wheel to change your speed
• Exit and reenter the world

Observed results

• Your flying speed has been reset

Expected results

• Your flying speed wouldn't be reset
