Snowball breaking particles do not spread as intended

      The particles generated by snowballs upon colliding with a block or entity no longer seem to spread, or spread very little. This worked fine in version 1.21.3. Is this caused by the fix for MC-276764? It started happening in the version where MC-276764 was fixed (24w45a).

      How to reproduce:

      1. Throw a snowball at a block

      Expected result

      The particles should scatter in random directions as they did before.

      Observed result

      The particles are intersecting and not spreading.
