I am experiencing random text flickering in Minecraft menus and in-game interfaces. The issue occurs in both localized languages (e.g., French) and the default English language. It primarily affects letters with accents (e.g., é, è, ê) in localized languages, but flickering also occurs in standard English text.
This problem persists in both vanilla Minecraft and modded setups (Forge, OptiFine). It has been observed in Minecraft 1.21.1 and 1.21.4, using Java 21.0.1. Switching between French and English does not resolve the issue. Additionally, similar graphical artifacts are sometimes detected in other applications, suggesting the issue might extend beyond Minecraft.
Hardware and Software Details:
- Operating System: Windows 11 Home
- Java Version: 21.0.1
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5
- The issue occurs with or without resource packs, shaders, or mods enabled.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch Minecraft (versions tested: 1.21.1 and 1.21.4).
- Set the game language to French (or another non-English language) or leave it in English.
- Open any menu or interface with text (e.g., inventory, options).
- Observe random text flickering, with more frequent occurrences in localized languages (e.g., French accents).
Additional Observations:
- The problem occurs in both vanilla Minecraft and modded setups (e.g., Forge, OptiFine).
- The flickering is not limited to Minecraft and has been observed in other applications (e.g., Fall Guys).
- No other performance issues or graphical glitches have been consistently detected.
- Changing language settings (e.g., switching to English) does not resolve the issue.
