When Minecraft: Java Edition is opened on versions 1.20.2 and newer, there is no audio in the game. This includes both the title screen and in-game audio. When you quit the game, a crash report is opened with exit code 1073740791. The crash report says that the crash may be caused by an out-of-date graphics driver or conflicts with screen recording software. These are not the problem, as I have the latest Nvidia drivers and all screen recording software is disabled. It may be important to note that I have figured out a workaround for the problem, though it is not ideal. When I open minecraft 1.20.1 or older via the launcher and leave this version running in the background while I open another minecraft on versions 1.20.2 or newer, the audio is fixed and everything is normal with the newer versions. I can then close the older version in the background and play on the newer one with audio working fine. This may suggest that minecraft versions 1.20.2 and later are using a different audio library or engine to that of older versions. Also, the only in-game audio that seems to work in the newer versions is the narrator. It's the only part of the game that makes sound.
