I am on macOS Sonoma 14.4 and running a 2024 Macbook Pro with the M3 Pro silicon.

Since purchasing the game after a few years of inactivity a few weeks ago, i have attempted to begin a handful of playthroughs, however i have consistently and repeatedly ran into this (sounds dramatic) game-breaking bug.

Essentially, whilst moving the mouse when exiting the inventory, the player view will jitter and usually this is in the realm of a full 180 or looking into the sky. Obviously, if this was situational and a 'one off' bug, this would not even be an issue. But, this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME you exit the inventory whilst moving the mouse. This is infuriating when you want to get moving quickly or do just about anything in quick succession, such as item sorting, inventory management and so on.

For transparency, i am running Sodium for performance enhancement but that is it. No other mods. I have already tried troubleshooting this bug on a fresh instance of Vanilla 1.21 but it persists.

I have also seen this exact bug been reported on here several times, even some with video evidence of the exact same problem i am tackling. They all are closed and filed as 'resolved' but this couldn't be further from the truth unfortunately.

Before you ask, yes this does still persist even with the trackpad, so my mouse is not the fault. Lastly, i never experienced this once in my years of playing on Windows.

I have attached a video of the exact issue that i am referring to and am in dire need of solutions.
