The bug

When breaking a bed, planks particles are produced. However, the particles associated with the item form of beds (available with commands, e.g. a bed which due to components is also edible) are that of wool, which is not consistent.

How to reproduce

1. Break a pink bed

2. /particle minecraft:item{item:"minecraft:pink_bed"}

Expected results

The same type of particle.

Actual results

Two completely different particles.

How to fix

A resource pack that completely fixes this issue is attached to this ticket. Mojang have my full permission and my encouragement to use this to fix this issue in the vanilla game.
