I just came back to minecraft and my world folder can't be read. Invalid distance too far back

I thought i would be able to load my world after quitting.

But it was unable to read the world folder. Instead this message popped up twice:

Java.util.zip.ZipException: Invalid distance too far back

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. I created a world and played on it

      2. I exited the world using the menu

      3. The world folder can not be read.
