In survival mode, using a bucket to pick up water or lava, or to deposit water or lava from a filled bucket, causes the bucket (and the picked-up water or lava, if applicable) to disappear without a trace.

Since transporting water with buckets is pretty much an essential element in the game, and attempting to do so will destroy resources, I this should be considered a showstopper bug, eligible for a hotfix.
