Connection Lost in Singleplayer after using the middle mouse button while facing a dirt block to pick it from inventory. Happened multiple times, with various blocks. The game is not open to LAN + no mods + no datapacks + enabled experiments: bundle, minecart changes. This happened multiple times in a row even after restarting the game.

What I expected to happen was...:
The block that was middle mouse clicked should have appeared in my hotbar.

What actually happened was...:
The game crashed with the following error:

Connection Lost Internal Exception: io.netty.handgler.codec.EncoderException: Failed to encode packet 'clientbound/minecraft:set_player_inventory'

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Face a block with some some of that block in your inventory, but not in your hotbar.
2. Middle mouse click the block.
3. Game crashes with Connection Lost error and the "Back to Server List" button.

4. Game shows the multiplayer screen instead of the singleplayer screen.
