If you get into a minecart and face sideways instead of the direction you're going the minecart will move very slowly for a few seconds as if the rails were unpowered.

Reproduction Steps

• Build a powered rail track
• Face your camera perpendicular to the track
• Get into a minecart and press W

Observed Results

• At first the minecart will inch foward slowly as if the rails were unpowered
