I have a lot of worlds in snapshots that aren’t recognized in Releases. This means I can only play snapshots or most of my data is gone. This is a issue also because this could cause conflicting world data where you make a world in the release or snapshot that has the same name as another in the other version will most likely result in world data corruption because you can’t make a folder that has the same name/ID as another folder. This also works with worlds in releases not being recognized in snapshots. Most worlds aren’t recognized before 1.13 most likely due to data changes.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Make a world in snapshot, any prior to 1.13 Prerelease 1
      2. Load a release prior to 1.13
      3. Try to find the world you made.

Expected Results: The world you made is there and playable.

Observed Results: The world does not appear and isn’t recognized while in the release

I run Windows 11 Home edition On a HP laptop with an AMD Athlon Gold processor and a AMD Radeon Graphics card.
