THE ERROR

So I was exploring this warm ocean biome when suddenly I came across a huge patch of terracotta at the bottom of the ocean. I checked the F3 menu and it appears this is an underwater badlands biome.

What I expected to happen was...
The ocean would be all sand at the bottom and be a warm ocean.

What instead happened was...
There was a medium-sized appendage of hardened clay extending from the coastal badlands biome a few dozen blocks into the warm ocean. This region is considered to be an underwater badlands.

Steps to reproduce:

• Create a world in creative using this seed:7717399035454426025
• Run the following command:/tp @s -819 54 230
• There is an appendage of badlands biome extending into the ocean.
