Dear Minecraft Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to report an issue I have encountered with structure blocks in Minecraft 1.21. Despite using the latest version and not having any mods, shaders, or texture packs installed, I am facing a persistent problem where the structure block fails to detect the size of a structure and displays the error message: "Unable to detect structure size. Please place corner structure blocks with the same structure name."
Here are the details of the issue:
- Minecraft Version: 1.21
- Platform: Windows 11
- Issue Description: When attempting to save a structure, the structure block does not detect the corners correctly. Both the corner and save structure blocks are named consistently (e.g., "my_structure"), and they are placed at the opposite corners of the structure. Despite following the correct procedure, the structure block still fails to recognize the corners.
Error Message: "Unable to detect structure size. Please place corner structure blocks with the same structure name."
Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:
- Verified the names are consistent and case-sensitive.
- Replaced the corner blocks multiple times.
- Ensured there is sufficient distance between the corner blocks.
- Tried using a simple structure to rule out complexity issues.
- Uninstalled and reinstalled Java 17 and the game itself, but the issue persists.
Despite these efforts, the issue persists, significantly impacting my ability to utilize the structure block feature effectively.
I would appreciate any guidance or fixes you could provide to resolve this issue. Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
