The Bug:
Off hand item usage isn't prevented while holding shears in the main hand and looking at sheared snow golems or bogged.
You can utilize the item in your offhand while holding shears in the main hand and looking at snow golems or bogged, but you cannot utilize the item in your offhand while holding shears in the main hand and looking at sheared sheep, therefore introducing an inconsistency.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Summon a sheep, snow golem, and bogged all next to one another by using the commands provided below.
/summon minecraft:sheep ~-3 ~ ~-3 {NoAI:1b}
/summon minecraft:snow_golem ~ ~ ~-3 {NoAI:1b}
/summon minecraft:bogged ~3 ~ ~-3 {NoAI:1b,ArmorItems: [{},{},{},{count:1,id:"minecraft:diamond_helmet"}]}
- Hold a shield in your off hand and some shears in your main head.
- Shear all of the entities.
- Attempt to shear all of the entities again (right-click on them while holding shears) and observe if your off hand item is used while attempting to do so.
Observed Behavior:
Off hand item usage isn't prevented while holding shears in the main hand and looking at sheared snow golems or bogged which is inconsistent with sheared sheep.
Expected Behavior:
Off hand item usage would be prevented while holding shears in the main hand and looking at sheared snow golems or bogged.
