When using any splashing potion, it does not last a specified duration of time. For instance, a splash potion of 8 minutes only last for 7 minutes 2 seconds and a 3 minute splash potion lasts 2 minutes 38 seconds. Same goes for splash potions of 22 or 45 seconds.
