The bug

Recent 1.21 development versions permit ender pearls to teleport through portals and bring the owner to the destination dimension with them. However, every so often, the projectile will outright ignore the portal blocks and pass through them while remaining in the same dimension, which is not desirable.

Expected results

The pearl would always cross over to the other dimension.

Actual results

It does not.
