Hi, I'm Yusuf. I hope you're having a good day.

First of all, I am a linux user and I tried to play Minecraft on linux for the first time and I can't play it because of a frustrating bug. (I have had experience playing Minecraft for a long time with other accounts in the past, but those experiences were on Windows). By the way i couldn't attach other Affects Versions other than 1.20.6, sorry for that.

Whenever I open a new version of the game, like 1.20, everything works perfectly, but when I open an older version, like 1.8.9, everything goes haywire (also the Launcher has some issues, but they are not that important right now).

The game launches in windowed view when it first opens, but whenever I put the game in full screen I can still see the navbar of my OS and I can't go back to any window using Alt+Tab. If I stay in windowed mode and move the window around on the desktop, the window leaves a trace of its image on the screen that the recording program can't capture, just like some mouse pointers leave a trace behind. Even if I ignore this problem, when I try to play the game, when I press certain keys, sometimes the game returns to the main menu and sometimes it crashes (I tried to take a screen recording of this, and eventually the game crashed and Gnome restarted itself, so all my applications closed and the recording stopped).

I can't play my game because of this error, I'm even thinking of returning it now. I hope you have a solution or can solve it. Have a nice day and I look forward to hearing back from you.

      Yusuf Kiriş
