Back in the olden days of Minecraft, you couldn’t see water through ice, which looked very nice and you couldn’t see ice through water, which made the ice look thin like real ice. Now, a visual bug has existed for years now where water can be seen through ice and vice versa. This makes it look weird because you can see the surface of water through ice, which looks incredibly weird.

Steps to reproduce:

• Go to an icy biome.
• Go to a body of water.
• You can see the surface of the water through the ice.

Honestly have no clue why I can’t find any other reports of this bug. This bug has been around since 1.7 I believe.
