In 24w09a, the dirt background of the main menu was replaced with a blurred background of the title screen panorama.
As a Mac user, I have found that when moving from the title screen into the menus, the blurred panorama does not rotate smoothly and moves in a more "jumpy" way instead. Furthermore, buttons in the menu show latency, and only register that I've clicked on them after around a second. Buttons also don't highlight immediately when I move my mouse cursor over them, and sliders in the menu take time to register that I've dragged them. This only seems to be an issue in menus where the dirt background was replaced with the blurred panorama: in the title screen, I have no issues with the panorama rotation or button latency.
This is a link to a Youtube video showing this issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGtq3h4Y1ZY
Having watched the recent snapshot videos from Youtubers such as Xisumavoid and Slicedlime, this issue doesn't seem to affect them. As they use Windows while I use a Mac, I believe that this might have something to do with the issue.
