Alright, so this is tricky to explain, however, I recently re-downloaded Minecraft and bought a new account. When I loaded up the game, all the settings and key binds were set to how they normally should be. However, when I went to open any chest or place blocks, it was only allowing me to destroy blocks. Even when using Right Click (which is normally used to place and open things) it would only allow me to destroy. I went into the control settings to change the keys and when I altered them and went back into the game, it had switched to only allowing me to place blocks and not destroy or attack anything. I've never encountered this issue before and this happens while using my computer's mouse pad as well as a USB mouse AND an apple mouse. This is happening on singleplayer worlds, not any sort of server or realm, although this issue would probably still be present if I were to join any multiplayer worlds currently. I searched for hours last night to see if anyone has encountered this problem and turned up empty-handed except for a similar issue someone had with version 1.14 in 2019. They, however, were having the problem on a server and it was not effecting their single-player gameplay. I've racked my brain for anything I could try to see if I can fix it. I've tried re-downloading, reinstalling, shutting down and starting up my computer and the issue remains present. I'm convinced it is some sort of bug or some technical issue. I would deeply appreciate any swift and efficient help or advice with this. Also, in the event that this is a bug, how long should I expect to wait until its fixed? I'm super eager to play again and will take any help I can get. Thanks
