Dark oak trees will generate with missing layers if certain blocks (ex: dirt, and vines) are above the north-west sapling in the 2x2 grid for growing the dark oak tree.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Replicate the shown setup:
(The vines need to be above the north-west sapling)
      2. Place dark oak saplings on top of the grass
      3. Bone meal the saplings

      Observed & Expected Behavior:

The dark oak tree grows with a missing 'layer' at the y coordinate of the vine.
The tree would grow as normal, replacing the vine block/s.

      Notes:

      1. This issue was originally was part of MC-193318, but I opted to seperate it due to the behavior being inherently different in nature (pun intended). The dark oak tree is not prevented from growing due to the vines, it instead does not grow as would be expected.

      3. This issue was triaged originally as this being reproduable with vines, but is actually possible with more blocks than only vines.
