Trial chambers take no measures to avoid spawning inside the deep dark biome, even though most other underground structures like mineshafts and strongholds do.

To reproduce, create a deep dark single biome world, then run the following command:

/locate structure trial_chambers

Notice that trial chambers still spawn in the world, even though it is entirely deep dark.
