I was trying to generate a map in my underground base in an extreme hills biome, while the following problems appeared:
1) The place where I've generated the map, wasn't in the center but in the upper right corner. See screenshot "new map doesn't generate in the center.png"
2) After having put the map in an item frame and stopping the game, when I've started the game up again it had to redraw itself. See screenshot: "map has to reload with starting up.png"
3) when I've tried to make a zoomed out version, the crafting recipe didn't work and made me lose 8 paper [not a big deal but enoying ;) ]. See screenshots: "map doesn't zoom out" 1 and 2
