Apparently tinted glass doesn't seem to create surrounding shadows into adjacent blocks, despite being a block with light-filtering properties. This seems to be inconsistent with other similar blocks like ice and slime blocks, which are also translucent, and filter a low amount of skylight.
How to reproduce
- Enable smooth lighting.
- Place a tinted glass block.
- Notice how it doesn't create surrounding shadows.
Expected result
Tinted glass would create ambient occlusion into adjacent blocks, like how ice and slime blocks do.
Observed result
Tinted glass lacks ambient occlusion, even though it filters light completely.
