Today (July 25th) I installed Minecraft 1.20.1 version for the first time, I went to one server and I see Chat mixed with TAB information. Before it was always when you hold TAB the chat is below the tab and more TAB is visible now it's the other way around, So I think you should fix this in 1.20.2 or just do a Mini Update and add this change in 1.20.1
