Are the tickets for moss carpets and mangrove logs using cutout rendering private? If not, they should be marked as related to this.

      The bug

Glass blocks do not use mipmapping, but glass panes do, resulting in them looking different from each other at sharp angles of incidence.

      How to reproduce

      1. create a long strip of glass blocks
      2. Create a long strip of glass panes
      3. Look at them from one of the far edges

      Expected results

As they get farther away from the player, the glass faces would look much the same.

      Actual results

Glass blocks do not use mipmapping, so they remain largely transparent at large distance, whereas glass panes do use mipmapping resulting in them fading to a solid color at the same distance.
