When a minecart is placed, the rolling sound plays indefinitely, even when the minecart doesn't move. This persists on the sound cap as long as the minecart is loaded and it and the player are in the same dimension. This is most noticeable when a large amount of minecarts are placed and stationary, yet still take up the sound cap and prevent other sounds from playing.
