If you take damage twice in quick succession, the second damage will be negated being that you are still in your i-frames from the first damage, and you won't hear the sound of yourself taking damage. However, sometimes the damage tilt animation will still play despite there being no noise. The way I stumbled upon this was I was flying in a canyon and smacked against two walls very close together in time and the first wall caused me to take damage as normal, but the second one caused only the tilt animation to play. If the player is hurt during their i-frames, the animation should not play. I wasn't able to reproduce this in 1.19.4. I tried reproducing this with command blocks and was unable to get the same result. I think there are some certain conditions that must be met in order to see this bug.
