I mainly play Minecraft forge for 1.16.3 on the latest update you can get for that version form their official website. But I have tried without mods on the latest snapshot and latest 2 (maybe 3) releases. of Minecraft. Even tried 1.16.3 without mods at all with and without forge as well. I had also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft launcher, changing the game version's folder directory, tried deleting the skins .json file, tried everything i can do and think of. I've even tried adding in another skin tried the web browser way. Nothing worked. My skin was created using planet Minecraft and Tynker's Minecraft skin maker and using Microsoft's Paint 3D just a little to make sure the transparent parts stay transparent and add some details like transparent see-trough areas (only works on java). As of right now I'm currently using a texture pack to change my skin to the skin I'm trying to use. Which any skin I put in doesn't matter if it HD or not or 32X64 or 64X64 or 64X32 or higher resolution will not work .
