Steps to reproduce:

1 - Type in chat: /give @p firework_rocket{Fireworks:{Flight:100b}} 1 or another Flight Duration Number.

2 - start flying

3 - /kill yourself

4 - fly again immediately after death and feel the effects of the flight duration that you used before your death.
