Closing the game in an unsaved world can cause items put in a container to be duplicated and items taken out of a container to be deleted.

Please do not ignore this report - this bug needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

I play the game on a low end computer meaning the game can sometimes crash. If the world has not been saved and the game does crash then upon loading the world to the previous save, items that have been put in or taken out of a container before the crash occurred have been duplicated or deleted respectively.

The attached video shows the result - the iron got duplicated and the gold got deleted.

To reproduce this bug, simply put one item in your inventory and the a different item in a chest. Then save the world, re-enter it and swap the item in the chest and the item in your inventory. Next keep your inventory open while using the task manager to close the game. reopen the game and lad the same world and open the chest and see that the first item that was mentioned earlier has been duplicated - the item will be in your inventory and a duplicate of this item will be in the chest. The different item will be missing - it has been deleted.
