The Bug:
Sniffers continue digging after being pushed or pulled away from their target block.
As a result, sniffers start digging blocks that they weren't originally going to dig. They will only stop digging once pushed/pulled onto a block that isn't part of the "#minecraft:sniffer_diggable_block" block tag. Making sniffers unable to be pushed or pulled while digging (MC-260245) would be the ideal way of fixing this problem.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Obtain a lead, summon a sniffer, and wait for it to begin digging.
- Once it begins digging, use the lead to pull away the sniffer from its target block.
- Observe the behavior of the sniffer.
- Take note as to whether or not sniffers continue digging after being pushed or pulled away from their target block.
Observed Behavior:
Sniffers continue digging after being pushed or pulled away from their target block.
Expected Behavior:
Sniffers would stop digging after being pushed or pulled away from their target block.
