I just made a new survival world and tried to go to the nether with my first portal.
Upon entering the Nether, there is only one chunk rendered. If you jump off the chunk, you will fall endlessly without ever dying.
I broke a block, but it didn't drop any item.
I tried to go back to the overworld, but after the sound finishes, you don't get teleported back and the teleport animation just keeps playing.
I tried to Save and Exit the game, but I end up getting stuck on the "Saving world" screen, only being able to exit using the Windows Task Manager.

I tried restarting multiple times, but I keep getting the same result.

      Recreate the bug:
Make a new world in survival
Make a portal and enter it
Break a block and don't receive an item
Go back into the portal and after the teleport sound finishes you still don't get teleported back
Save and Exit the game, and you will be stuck on "Saving World"

I am not using any mods, just Vanilla Minecraft's latest Snapshot. No commands, nothing. I changed my world to peaceful in my first cave run, after which I set it back to Easy mode.
