If you bone meal netherrack, it will make particles far away from the affected block. This is inconsistent from bone mealing other blocks where only one block is affected (e.g. bone mealing a sapling doesn't produce bone meal particles around all nearby saplings).
In addition, in Bedrock Edition, only the affected block produces particles. I can't show a screenshot of that because i don't know how to screenshot in Bedrock edition. However, this is more of a bug than a parity request (like if it were in the case in Bedrock too I would still consider it a bug, but the fact that it behaves differently in Bedrock means that it is also a parity issue)
